Genetic Testing
• Genetic tests for color, chondrodysplasia, PHA, and horned status are not required for registration.

• Genetic tests for chondrodysplasia, PHA, and horned status are required to list these traits on the registration certificate ONLY IF parent status indicates the animal is not obligate for stated traits. Mail copy of test results with this application.

• Genetic test to acquire a genotype is required for all animals born after December 31, 2015. For rules applying to animals born before December 31, 2015, see ADCA Registration Rules.

• ADCA-approved labs are Texas A & M University (TAMU) and University of California Davis (UCD)
