Texas Dexter Breeder Association

This Texas affiliated association will be meeting during the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo on March 9, 2020 from 9:00am – 11:00am at NRG Center, 2nd Floor, Rooms 204-205. We will be discussing the current status of the association and where we would like to see it go, if there is enough interest. This group has been historically successful in bringing breeders together, in a unified desire to celebrate and manage the Dexter breed. In the recent years, the group has not been active. The group has a very nice website, that is currently not updated, but can be if enough breeders out there what to revitalize this effort. With the market changing and difficulty in connecting with other breeders for sales and support, this association could help bridge many of those gaps. Don Giles is the president and founder of the TDBA. He will be there to talk with all interested breeders. Jennifer Hunt (ADCA Regional Director) and Elissa Emmons (ADCA Youth Director) will also be there to support the effort of our members. We will have refreshments available to all attendees. The Dexter Shows will be following this meeting at 3:30pm in the NRG arena. Please come meet us to talk about the future of TDBA.
