Fonner Park Road, #200 – Grand Island, Nebraska 68801\nThe 16th Annual Dexter Cattle Show at the Nebraska State Fair in Grand Island, Nebraska will take place August 26th through the 29th in Grand Island, Nebraska.\nThe Dexter Show at the Nebraska State Fair has been a midwestern venue for Dexters since 2007. Dexter breeders from across the Midwest and Great Plains enjoy the world-class facilities and the family-friendly environment while relaxing with fellow Dexter owners and a friendly, low-stress Dexter show filled with excellent stock. We hope you plan to participate in the country’s longest-running continuous State Fair Dexter show.\nThe schedule for 2024 is as follows: Begin check-in 8/26 through 8/27 and in place 8/27 (by Noon), Dexter Show 8/29 with release immediately after the show.\nThe online entries are now open: Nebraska State Fair Cattle Entries. You can find show information and instructions at this link: https://www.statefair.org/ag…/livestock-exhibitors/\nWe have improved the Nebraska State Fair Dexter Show classes to match the ADCA National Expo classes and added a few new group classes.\nAlso new this year, Cow/Calf Breed Champions will compete in the Supreme Cow/Calf Drive. Cow/calf pairs do not compete for overall Supreme Champion Female.\nAnother change In-state exhibitors no longer need a CVI to enter the grounds. Out-of-state exhibitors will still need a Certificate of Veterinary Inspection.
