Christmas & A Happy New Year
to all members,
me start by saying “Welcome to the 2017 60th Anniversary
AGM”. I can’t believe it is actually that
time already. This letter is to introduce the newly
updated AGM store which will be launched on or about
of the most obvious changes you will notice is that
the AGM registrations have gone digital. We now have
a new online store where you can do just about anything
related to the AGM you would want to do. You can be
an AGM sponsor, register for the show, register for
the sale, buy hay for your animals, buy meal tickets
and catalogues and order anniversary t-shirts. The sponsorships
include the ability to sponsor classes, buckles, grand
champions, and reserve champions. You can also split
sponsorship between you and a friend or two on some
of the items.
AGM committee has worked hard to not raise prices. And
sponsorships go a long way in helping us continue to
keep costs down. Every year we try to make the AGM just
a little better in one way or the other and without
your sponsorships that is not possible.
are three things I want to clarify. First, when you
order the two meals and a catalogue package that is
what you get. AND when you enter animals for either
the show or sale you also get a catalogue. We don’t
want to over-order catalogues, so please make sure that
you order extras if you want them. There is a limit
of two free catalogues per family. Second, we will not
be printing AGM entry forms in the upcoming bulletin.
It is our hopes that everyone will access the online
store for all their AGM needs. It makes our bookkeeping
much smoother. But we also have a back up plan for those
that simply cannot access the online store. IF you can’t
use the online store, then you can contact Roberta Wieringa
and she will be glad to mail you a paper form. Third,
the photo contest will still need to be done through
the United States mail. When you enter the photo contest
you will still have to print the form, print the photos,
and mail it to the designated address.
couple months ago we posted the information for the
host hotel this year. I hope many of you have already
booked your rooms. If you haven’t please do so
as soon as possible.
ADCA is a great organization, what makes it great is
its members and the willingness of the members to step
